Let’s Create an Open, Loving and Accepting Society

Today, I want to chat about something that’s been fueling my creative fire lately: crafting a world where love knows no bounds. Strap in, because we’re diving deep into why I write fiction and the bigger mission behind it all.

What would a world where love knows no bounds look like?

Picture this: a world where who you love isn’t a headline or a point of contention. It’s just… love. Simple as that. No labels, no judgment—just pure, unadulterated love. Sounds pretty amazing, right? Well, that’s the world I’m striving to create, one story at a time.

How can storytelling shape hearts and minds?

You see, as a fiction writer, I believe in the power of storytelling to shape hearts and minds. It’s not just about spinning a good yarn or crafting compelling characters (though I do love me some juicy plot twists and complex protagonists). It’s about weaving a tapestry of empathy, understanding, and acceptance.

What themes run through your novels?

In my novels, whether it’s a heart-pounding romance, a gripping mystery, or a fantastical adventure, there’s always one underlying theme: love in all its forms. And not just romantic love, mind you—though there’s plenty of that to go around. I’m talking about the love between friends, the love of family, the love for oneself. Because love is love, no matter how you slice it.

Why is normalizing love in all forms important in fiction?

But here’s the kicker: my stories aren’t just about showcasing love. They’re about normalizing it. In a world where LGBTQ+ rights are still up for debate and discrimination runs rampant, it’s more important than ever to shine a spotlight on love in all its beautiful, messy, glorious forms.

How does writing fiction help to promote acceptance and understanding?

You see, every time I sit down at my laptop and let my fingers dance across the keyboard, I’m not just crafting characters and plotlines. I’m building bridges. I’m tearing down walls. I’m constructing a world where acceptance and understanding reign supreme.

What challenges do writers face when crafting stories of love and acceptance?

And you know what? It’s not always easy. There are days when the words don’t flow, when doubt creeps in, when the world outside feels dark and unyielding. But then I remember why I do what I do. I remember the impact a single story can have, the way it can touch a reader’s heart and change their perspective forever.

Why is love the greatest story ever told?

So, here’s to building a world of love—one page, one chapter, one story at a time. Because in the end, love will always be the greatest story ever told. And I’m just grateful to play a small part in sharing it with the world.
