About me…

I’m part of the LGBTQ+ community and have been writing my whole life, though I didn’t publish professionally until 2024. My debut novel, Second Chance With Tony, about a closeted high school football player who falls for a mesmerizing boy with a dark secret, became an Amazon bestseller.
The second book in my Westwood County Stories series, Keeping Tyler Safe, is out now. In it, Gabe is willing to do anything to protect the love he thought he’d lost forever while keeping Tyler in the dark about his own secret. It can be read as a stand-alone.

Born in Bonn, Germany, I spent a year in West Virginia as an exchange student when I was 15. I was part of the school newspaper and published some of my poems in a local literary magazine. Since there was not much to do in the sleepy town, I started reading a lot. I fell in love with English books and have been ever since. Back in Germany, I graduated high school and went on to become a fashion designer. I worked for major European brands. A few years ago, I changed careers to pursue my passion for people. I work as a Scrum Master and Agile Team Coach in software development now and I love it.
Why I adore queer books!
When I was growing up, there was no queer representation. I didn’t know any queer people. I felt completely alone. Thankfully, the world has changed a lot since then. But there is still a long way to go towards true acceptance. When I discovered my first gay young adult novel, Brent Hartinger’s Geography Club, it was a revelation. I was an out and proud adult by then, but the story still made me cry. It was hard to believe that someone had so beautifully managed to put the thoughts I had as a teenager to paper. I’ve been hooked ever since. I share my favorite books on my YouTube channel and on Instagram to form a community with people who share the same hobby. Find my queer book reviews on YouTube here.
I write queer fiction to show that any kind of love has to be cherished. I want my stories to tell anyone who is afraid of living their truth:
❤ You are not alone and it does get better! ❤
